Heike Paul will be joining the Futures of American Studies Institute at Dartmouth College from June 16-22 for its 25th anniversary. Her talk, titled "Lost Causism and Early America: The Case of Roanoke, ca. 1587," will address 'lost cause"-rhetoric in American political culture, past and present.
